Text and imported files

The application processes pasted text and imported plain-text files locally in your browser. It does not upload those inputs to a server, include them in page URLs, or send them to an analytics service. Input text and the most recent undo snapshot are held in page memory. The app does not save text to browser storage between visits. Your browser may independently restore form values when navigating back or restoring tabs.

Storage, advertising, and analytics

The application stores only your color-theme preference in local storage. This version includes no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or application cookies. You can remove the saved theme using your browser's site-data controls.

Website hosting

Loading the site still makes ordinary requests to the website host for HTML, styles, scripts, and images. Those requests expose normal connection information such as your IP address and browser headers to the hosting infrastructure. This application's source does not control the host's access logs or retention settings.

Copying and downloading

Copy report writes comparison content to your clipboard only when you select it. Export report creates a local download. You control any later sharing of the clipboard content or downloaded file.

External links and feedback

Following a GitHub link takes you to an external service with its own privacy policy. Feedback submitted as a GitHub issue is public. Use invented examples rather than private text when reporting problems.

Browser extensions and browser-level features operate independently of this application.
